From the Single Vineyard Collection of Paul Mas, there is also a Pinot Noir Reserve from the Saint Hilaire site, a vine that is normally found not associated with the Languedoc. The Paul Mas Reserve Pinot Noir has clear aromas of this noble grape variety, but is also a typical Languedoc wine with its velvety soft fruit and the round tannins. Aromas of Mon Cheri, vanilla, strawberry and red currant can be found. On the palate it is emphatically smooth, round like a ball and beautifully full in the aftertaste.
We particularly recommend this fruity red wine with game dishes, poultry, cassoulet or soft and semi-hard cheeses.
