The Moscato d'Asti is a specialty from Piedmont. A sparkling sweet wine with an incomparable aroma is produced from fragrant Moscato grapes. According to DOCG production regulations, a Moscato d'Asti must always contain 5.5% alcohol.
Founded in 1988, Cascina Fonda is a specialist in this enchanting sparkling wine and produces wines of rare clarity and stunning aromas reminiscent of acacia and linden blossom. The seductive sweetness of the Moscato Bel Piano and the fine bubbles create a real drinking mood for almost every occasion. As an accompaniment to food, it is ideal for desserts that are not too sweet, such as fruit cake, fruit salad or ice cream.
By the way, you don't necessarily have to drink this wine young. It stays attractive for a few years and is a lot of fun even when slightly matured.
