Lance is the name for the fast elegant boats used in Sicily to transport the grapes. The logo on the label of Cantine Paolini Inzolia represents the sails of two Lance boats. The grape variety Inzolia, also called Insolia or Ansonica, is cultivated in western Sicily as a white wine grape and as part of the Marsala.
As a dry white wine, it gives spicyness to the wines that have a slight almond flavor. In this wine you will also find fruit notes that are reminiscent of grapefruit, apples and pears. The body is of medium weight, the acidity mild, the wine leaves a pleasant and slightly creamy reverberation. Very charming.
