Grasevina is the most popular domestic white wine grape in Croatia. In Austria it is also called Welschriesling , but the style of the good Grasevina from Croatia is completely different from that in Austria, where this variety is usually made into rather light white wines. Grasevina from central Croatia has body and a creamy fullness, just like this excellent example from the Josic family. The wine has a fine apple scent, is emphatically harmonious, the acidity is ripe and well integrated. A universal food companion and festival wine that meets the taste of many connoisseurs.
