The Grasevina from Krauthaker is probably the most famous high-quality white wine in Croatia. It grows in Kutjevo / Slavonia, approx. 200 km east of Zagreb.
Vlado Krauthaker is an institution in Croatian winemaking. The trained oenologist started with a modest hectare of vines and today his winery has grown to 45 hectares. Using modern production methods, he has created excellent wines that have achieved international success. He now exports his wines to 50 countries.
The Grasevina Krauthaker is a typical representative of a Grasevina (Welschriesling) from Croatia. Its aroma is reminiscent of apples and peaches, plus delicate floral notes that make the bouquet appear playful. It is creamier and fuller than a brother from Austria, has substance, but is still fresh and stimulating. Anyone who has had it in their glass understands the popularity of this wine.
At the table it is a very versatile all-rounder; serve it with cold and warm starters, pasta, poultry, fish or rice dishes.
