The Chardonnay Terlano comes from the Winkl, Kreuth and Montigl sites and is harvested there by hand. After fermentation in steel tanks, it is stored on the fine lees for a further 6 months, which gives the wine stability and complexity. This wine combines freshness and balance with a full body, the aromas are reminiscent of tropical fruits, and nutty aromas are added with increasing maturity.
The Cantina Terlan already underpins its reputation as one of the best wineries in Italy in the base line.
The excellent 2023 vintage yielded lively and clear wines with precision and freshness, with full body. In the Terlan Chardonnay there are notes of pear, quince, passion fruit and mango. It is powerful and fresh on the palate, the exotic fruit notes are found in the smooth finale.
