The Chardonnay has its place in the grape variety portfolio of the South Tyrolean winegrowers, so also with the Cantina Tramin. The wine is made one part with and the other part withour malolactic fermentation, on one hand to preserve the soft and juicy character of the Chardonnay on the other hand however to show the typical freshness and the alpine character of the wine. In this fine Chardonnay, aromas of pineapples, bananas, stone fruits, also a little citrus fruit, caramel, vanilla and butter can be found.
