Appassimento is Italy's new wine trend. In many regions of the country, the amarone-inspired drying or rosinating of the berries is tested to increase the concentration of the wines. At Conte di Campiano, the Appassimento consists of the grape variety Negroamaro. The fruit is intense, light jam and dried fruit notes, beautiful herbal aromas in the very long-lasting finale. The wine is surprisingly concentrated and gives a rich feeling in the mouth, pleasantly warm and soft.
