Pfaffl's terroir smells intensely of Sauvignon Blanc, aromatic somewhere between Styria and New Zealand, so a bit yellow-fruity, aromas of gooseberry and elderflower can be found. Creamy and rich on the palate, long-lasting and balanced, with all its body it is always lively, you would minimum like a second glass. The freshness of this wine is due to the northern orientation of the Sauvignon vines in the vineyard Seiser am Eck and the two harvesting psrts, at the earlier first one the grapes are still crisp and give the freshness and fragrance, with the second part the grapes are fully ripe and ensure volume to the wine. The 2019, which benefits from ideal growing conditions, is particularly well made, awarding three gold medals. Anyone who has tasted it will understand why.
