Rully is one of the best and most famous AOCs in the Côte Chalonnaise. Of course, the harvest is done by hand here too. Due to its substance, 50% of the white Rully Les Villeranges at Domaine Faiveley is stored in barriques, 10% of which are new. Despite this, the clear mineral notes come through beautifully in this wine; the wood supports the wine but does not dominate it. The balance is its greatest strength anyway. It can be drunk young, but also matures excellently 5-6 years after the harvest. A beautiful Chardonnay with the unique coolness of Burgundy.
2022 is one of the best vintages of our time, rich in substance and balanced wines that bring a lot of joy early on.
