Farnese has a passion to combine grape varieties from different growing areas. The Ritorna Tre Autoctoni consists of 40% Montepulciano, 40% Primitivo and 20% Nero d'Avola. The grapes for this wine are picked by hand and then malolactic fermentation takes place in wooden barrels, followed by another 9 to 12 month aging before the wine is released for sale.
Dark red color. Intense fragrance with notes of cherries, plums, cassis and light tobacco. Juicy mouthfeel, soft, fruity, with a long finish in which aromas of vanilla and chocolate can be found. A flatterer.
