The Sonnleiten vineyard with its barren, rocky soil is a terrace single vineyard in the Weinviertel, which is something very special. Of course, you have to grow Riesling here. In a top vintage like 2019, it reaches a high level of maturity, which is reflected in 13.5% alcohol. Nevertheless, it also has a fresh acidity that gives the Riesling its incomparable finesse. Almost sparkling golden yellow, classic scent of ripe apricots and peaches. The crisp minerality already tickles the nose and is then noticeable on the palate with full force. Just like the full fruit, juicy and stimulating in the bouquet with a fresh structure. Finally, there is a nice length finish. A wonderful companion to fish dishes and vegetarian dishes.
