Pommard is probably the best-known red wine community in the Côte de Beaune. Pommard is famous for its strength, which is also embedded in a lot of fruit in a perfectly mature vintage like 2019. Incidentally, the vinyard of Noizon has its name from the walnut trees that were formerly grown there. Some of the Pinot Noir vines of the Domaine Berthelemot here date from 1924. This gives the wine a great depth, the opulence of the vintage makes this beautiful Pommard a real insider tip.
