Tenuta Argentiera's red Poggio ai Ginepri is composed of the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. A cuvee that is traditionally common in the Médoc / Bordeaux. The vines are fermented and aged separately, 50% in barriques, 50% in tanks. The final composition for the bottling is only determined when the finished wine is finished.
The excellent 2021 vintage has a lot of substance and depth, truly a wonderful red that can be stored for a few years.
