Plan de Dieu (= surface of God) belongs to the AOC Côtes-du-Rhône Villages, and due to the special quality of the wines has its name on the labels since 2005. Today even the bottle proudly bears the inscription Plan de Dieu.
The Plan-Vermeersch RS wine from this AOC has a denser and more complex taste than the house's regular Côtes-du-Rhône, and it can also be stored for longer. It has an excellent price-pleasure ratio and conveys much of the smooth greatness of the southern Rhône wines.
