The Domaine Bousquet also successfully grows Pinot Noir in the Andean foothills at an altitude of 4000 ft. The relatively cool night climate at this altitude ensures the finesse in this wine. It is aged in barriques for 10 months. The result is a medium-weight and elegant red wine with aromas of cherries and strawberries, a fine oak scent and a smooth and long finish. A nice addition to the other "usual" grape varieties in Argentina.
