Frank Rembold: South Tyrol is my favorite region for Pinot Blanc. The wines are aromatic rather cool, not too fruity and with an elegant structure and not too dominant in terms of alcohol. The Cora von Schreckbichl has all these properties in a nutshell, as noted elsewhere, the Burgundy varieties also grow very well in the alpine wine-growing region of the Alto Adige. A universal food companion and a wine that suits many people, including connoisseurs.
