The residual sweet or lovely Riesling Kabinett from the Moselle and its tributaries is unique in style. The interplay of sweetness and acidity with its stunning aromatic clarity, the cool fruit and the freshness of a mountain stream cannot be copied anywhere in the world at this high level.
In this parade discipline, Christoph Koenen's Kabinett cuts a very strong impression. Best balance, with the typical Moselle aromas of spontaneous fermentation and storage on the yeast, a lightweight in terms of alcohol (only 8.0% vol.), but with an incredibly intense flavor. Splendid!
