The wines of the Vignobles Paul Mas range are produced from vineyards of the Nicole estate near Pézenas and the Château Paul Mas in the village Conas. Michel Mas is responsible for the vinification and is supported by the Australian oenologist Richard Osborne, who mainly cares about the white wines.
Marsanne is a high-quality white grape that is originally from the northern Rhone valley, where it is part of famous and long-lived white wines as the Hermitage or the Saint-Joseph. The Marsanne Classique Vignobles Paul Mas is a smooth and relatively full-bodied wine that does not hide its origin from the warm climate in the south of France. Nevertheless, it tastes lively and fresh. Its fruity bouquet is reminiscent of apricots, pears and nectarines. The palate is soft and charming, with a long-lasting reverberation. A universal companion to the Mediterranean cuisine.
