In addition to the local Nebbiolo grape, a bit of Pinot Nero was added to this rather fruity variant of a Piedmont red wine to round off the wine. It is aged without oak contact. This relatively modern Pio Cesare wine shows aromas like red currants and also ripe dark berries. On the palate with soft tannins, with a medium structure. This wine can be drunk young, but it can also age well and continue to refine in the bottle.
