Domaine Berthelemot also owns a small plot of land in Gevrey-Chambertin, the vines of which were planted in 1970. The Craite-Paille vineyard is in the north of the AOP and produces relatively soft Burgundy wines that do not need a long storage time to be ready for consumption.
2019 is one of the greatest Burgundy vintages of our time, great concentration and balance, but with a very small harvest. So the wines will be out of stock quickly.
