The Côtes du Jura La Poirière from Berthet-Bondet consists of 100% Chardonnay, the famous white wine grape from neighboring Burgundy. It is not matured oxidatively, called "ouillé" in the Jura, the shrinkage in the barriques is refilled again and again during the 10-month ageing. Mineral coolness and wonderful freshness with very good extract characterize this white wine with character. Like almost all Jura wines, it is a versatile accompaniment to dishes.
