The Domaine de Fages Cahors by the Croisille family is the fruity type of a Cahors, grown on the calcareous plateau called Fage in the "deuxième terrasse", a terrace in Luzech. The vines already have a remarkably high average age of about 30 years. The wine is fermented only with natural yeasts and gets a relatively short maceration period in order to maintain a low tannin content, the maturing takes place in the steel and concrete tanks. This creates a lively Cahors which is easy to drink, but does not deny its origin and grape variety. Organic wine.
