Mommiano is the name of the vineyard in the municipality of Canale, in the Roero area, where this Barbera d'Alba by Marco Porello grows. It has a fruity style because it is aged without contact with wooden barrels. Red fruits and ripe black cherries characterize the scent, on the palate it has a lot of pull, a freshness that encourages drinking and a considerable length in the finale.
The 2023 vintage is more peaceful in terms of alcohol content than many of its predecessors, at 13.5% it was based on ripe grapes whose freshness has been preserved in the wine. A lively Barbera in a modern and very skilful style.
