This special selection of perfectly ripened Avesso grapes is aged in large wooden barrels at Qunita de Covelo. This gives the wine additional complexity and depth, so that this full-bodied Vinho Verde can also be used as an accompaniment to intense dishes for which its "normal" brothers and sisters are usually too light. The aromas are more yellow-fruity than the standard Avesso, in addition to the delicate floral notes, peach and nectarine can be found here. An exciting wine! Roger Voss from Wine Enthusiast gives this wine 90/100 and also praises it as "Editor's Choice".
