The Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso, as it is called by its full name, is the autochthonous, i.e. the red wine grape from Villa Locatelli that is native in Friuli. It grows in the DOC Friuli Isonzo, which is known for its fruity and fresh wines. In order to preserve this character, it was fermented in steel tanks under temperature control and aged there until it was bottled. On the nose it has scents of dark and red berries, as well as a little bit of white pepper, on the palate it has a medium weight and well integrated tannins that give the wine structure. A characterful red that makes a Bella Figura on many occasions.
