The Monbazillac is a sweet wine from an AOP in Bergerac, which is obtained from the typical white wine varieties of the French southwest. Due to its special quality, the Monbazillac received its own AOP to separate from the other Bergerac sweet wines. It is a long-lasting sweet wine.
Michel and Catherine Lambert of the Domain de Montlong produce their Monbazillac from 70% Sémillon, 20% Muscadelle and 10% Sauvignon Blanc. The result is a juicy and fruity noble sweet wine that shines with flavors such as peach, honey and apricot. The palate is voluminous, soft and opulent, the long-lasting finish is intense, but not mushy.
A really cheap sweet wine of high quality .
