From the oldest vines of the Domaine du Clos des Fées the Grenache Blanc Vieilles Vignes is produced, which also contains 10% Grenache gris. The most vine are more than 100 years old , the vineyard is oriented towards the north-west to reduce the heat in the south of France. They always strive for freshness here. The perfection of Hervé Bizeul is impressive: the grapes are Harvested by hand and driven in a refrigeration vehicle into the winery for processing! By the way, only the 10% Grenache Gris are fermented in the used oak barrels, the Grenache Blanc remains without wood contact. Therefore practically no barriquescent is present, the wine impresses with its citrus fruit notes, which give this 14.5% concentrate even a certain lightness and freshness, due to its great power. An excellent white wine from the south of France, which should develop positively in the bottle for several years.
