The Bousquet Gaia red wine, named after the Greek goddess of the earth, is a blend of the noble grapes Malbec and Syrah, with a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from own vineyards in Tupungato, Alto Gualtallary, the high altitude is responsible for the wine's finesse and clear fruit, the tannins are well ripened. This excellent organic wine was aged for 10 months in French oak barrels, medium plus toast. It has a juicy fruit and lots of volume, without any impression of heaviness on the palate. A very skilfully made cuvée, which will refine itself in the bottle for some years.
