From 115 hectares of vineyards in the Douro Superior sub-region, Casa d’Arrochella produces modern, sophisticated Portuguese wines. The traditional grapes of the region are used, which come from the five wineries Quinta do Cerval, Quinta do Nabo, Quinta das Trigueira, Quinta de Vale d´Arcos and Quinta da Parte. Modern winemaking with juicy stylistics distinguishes the wines that have already received very benevolent reviews, such as these from the Wine Enthusiast for the Grandes Quintas 2017: "This sumptuously rich wine has the ripest black fruits along with solid tannins. The juicy acidity is what gives the wine its balance and that will develop as the powerful wine matures further." 92/100
