The Saint-Emilion winery Chateau Martinet belongs to the Pradel de Lavaux family, which owns nine châteaux in the Libournais, also known as the right bank of Bordeaux. Since the 18th century, the family owns wineries, this tradition is today converted with modern knowledge and best technology into great wines.
Chateau Martinet was formerly a hunting lodge, of which today the generous 6 hectare park testifies. The 17 hectares are planted with 65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc. Depending on the vintage, the wine remains in barriques for between 16 and 18 months.
The exceptional quality of the great 2018 vintage leads to a very concentrated Martinet, massive, juicy and substance, the long-lasting finale is soft and voluminous, which is why you can drink the wine even in his youth with lots of enjoyment.
