The Blacksmith Cabernet is a tribute to Langmeil founder Christian Auricht, who was a professional blacksmith and planted his first vines in the middle of the 19th century.
For Winemaker Paul Lindner 2018 is annother great vintage, and the crop size was very satisfying, too.
Typical for Cabernet, the Blacksmith is bursting with juicy blackcurrants, accompanied by a toasty spiciness of the barriques. Voluminous, opulent and with great concentration on the palate, long-lasting finale and despite its fullness in good balance. Great!
