Montrachet is the name for high quality dry white wines worldwide. This small patch of earth in Bourgogne produces incomparable white wines that uniquely combine freshness and depth, power and elegance.
In 2008 the Faiveley family was able to buy half a hectare of vines in Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet, which is a very considerable proportion of the total size of approx. The Chardonnay vines were planted here in 1980. The wine is fermented and aged in 50-60% new barriques.
The 2018 Bienvenues is a juicy wine that lines the mouth with its extract, but always looks fresh and lively, the length of this wine is impressive. A big one that can rest in the cellar for many years to come.
