The Pian Romualdo by Prunotto is a Barbera from Monforte d‘Alba. It is a classic label in the company's range and the first vintage produced was 1961. Incidentally, it is by no means true that Barbera should always be drunk young. High-quality specimens like this one develop positively in the bottle over the years. This wine benefits from the relatively large day / night temperature differences in Monforte and therefore has a lively and fresh style with a good grip in the precise tannins.
