This powerful and intense Pinot Noir, which also combines smoothness with structure and depth, comes from one of the best vineyards in Mercurey, with vines that are on average 40 years old. Undoubtedly one of the best village wines of southern Burgundy.
The 2019 vintage of the Belleville Mercurey Perrières is full and rich in extracts, with a lot of traction and clarity, aromas such as black cherries, vanilla and light roasted notes can be found. This continues on the palate, the ripe tannins give a fine structure, but are always balanced by the extract, everything is harmonious here. Great class, as always from the Domaine Belleville and at a still fair price.
