Castagnino is the younger brother of Castagno. The character is quite different, however, as the Castagnino was not matured in wood and thus reflects the pure Syrah from Cortana, without any great aging aromas. The result is a fresh and fruity red wine with aromas reminiscent of plums, juniper berries and herbs. On the palate, it is harmonious, with good structure and fullness, the tannins are well matured and fit perfectly into the taste profile. A friendly red wine that does not need to be stored for too long to be enjoyed.
