The Cantina De'Ricci today belongs to the Trabalzini family, which gave the cantina its historical name again. Before that, the estate was known for a few decades as Cantina Redi. There are impressive cellar vaults under the town of Montepulciano, which is proudly called the Cathedral, a cathedral of wine with a constant temperature that still contains the traditional Slavonian oak barrels in which the Vino Nobile is matured.
Today the winery owns 30 hectares of vines that are cultivated with the aim of making one of the best Vino Nobile. With the first-class vintage 2016, this was particularly impressive, a wine full of strength, depth and grace.
