For the Touriga Nacional Reserva, Quinta das Marias selects the best of the three locations in which this vine is grown each year. In 2016 it was the location called "Porto", which this year delivered the most balanced Touriga with the most beautiful tannins. Of course, everything for this wine is harvested by hand. After fermentation, it was matured for 12 months in barriques, 20% of which were new and 80% of which were used for a second time. The result is an outstanding Dao with depth, power and complexity, which is one of the best representatives of Portugal.
