2016 was a memorable vintage in Tuscany with very profound wines, perfect maturity and best balance at a high level. The Rosso di Montalcino is spontaneously fermented at Poggio Landi and aged in large traditional wooden barrels. Its bouquet is characterized by wild berries and a seductive floral note. The palate is elegant and perfectly balanced, the tannins support the fruit, but they dominate at no time. This Rosso is better than many Brunello di Montalcino.
