Monica Larner of Robert Parker's Wine Advocate writes about the 2020 Rosso di Montalcino from Poggio Landi: "A certified-organic wine, the Poggio Landi 2020 Rosso di Montalcino is quite ripe and soft with baked cherry and raspberry confit. The ripeness of the fruit is on the heavy and one-dimensional side, but it remains in line with a food-friendly entry-level wine such as this.Sangiovese delivers lots of natural acidity, and what you get here is a good pairing partner to marinated fajita flank steak or spicy chicken. An ample 50,000 bottles were produced."
