The Riposato Corte Giona consists of local Veneto grapes, 60% Corvina, 10% Corvinone and 25% Rondinella, plus 5% of other varieties. The grapes grow in the Salvaterra wineries Tenuta di Mezzane and Tenuta di Cazzano di Tramigna. 15% of the berries are dried in the Amarone style and later matured together with the regular must in wooden barrels of different sizes, with no new barrels being used to keep the Riposato's fruity character. This wine is distinguished by its soft style, is particularly charming and round in the aftertaste, which is carried by a fine spicy note. Good value!
