Thomas Jefferson already described the white Hermitage on one of his (wine) journeys in the 18th century as "the best wine in the world" and "incomparable". Even today, one of the best dry white wines ever comes from the famous Hermitage hill on the northern Rhône.
The Marsanne and Roussanne vines for the Hermitage Blanc Maison les Alexandrins are aged for 10 months in new barriques, which is what the powerful and fresh top vintage 2022 without any problems. In addition to the wood influence, aromas such as peach, acacia blossom and a little quince are noticeable. The taste is very powerful, shows a lot of power, but also a lively style that keeps the wine drinkable. The finallasts enormously. Impressive and can be stored for a long time.
