Pure tradition, the Barolo Prunotto has been produced for over 100 years. The Nebbiolo grapes for this wine are picked by hand, destemmed and, after temperature-controlled fermentation, aged for 18 months in wooden barrels of various sizes, where the wine is given its final touch.
In the scent a typical Barolo with red fruits, pralines and a hint of roses. On the palate, despite its youth, it shows a good balance, the tannins are present, as it should be for a proper Barolo, but ripe and velvety. Very fine, even in its youth.
