For years, Château Cantemerle has been one of the best values among the Grand Cru Classé du Medoc. The excellent 2019 vintage has a relatively high proportion of Cabernet in the blend, which makes it powerful and intense. It is more tannic than its more elegant predecessors, but no less delicate. The cassis fruit just pours out of the glass. A really classy skin medoc that will provide drinking fun for decades.
