The Carmenere Limited Release from Vina Sutil comes from particularly well-ripened grapes, grown in the Colchagua Valley in Chile. When planting the vineyards, emphasis was placed on high planting density in order to later get the best quality into the bottle. The 2021 was aged for 16 months in French oak barriques and was allowed to rest in the bottle for another 6 months before being sold.
The 2021 vintage of the Vina Sutil Carmenere Limited Release, which is considered to be excellent, actually consists of 96% Carmenère and 4% Petit Verdot. It shows aromas such as ripe red and dark berries, pepper and a hint of caramel. Ripe tannins characterize the taste with intense fruit and a very good extract. A great Carmenere.
