Baron de Brane is the second wine of the famous 2eme Cru Classé Château Brane Cantenac from Margaux. It consists of the younger vines and less privileged plots of the property and is stylistically very close to its big brother. Here, too, for the second wine, a not inconsiderable proportion of new barriques is used, between 20 and 30% depending on the vintage, which gives the wine a noble variety of aromas and structure.
2015 was a finesse-rich vintage full of charm, which is tailor-made for the wines from Margaux. This shows the full elegance of the AOC, and it has already reached its first drinking phase and is a lot of fun.
