TheLugana S. Cristina comes from a single vineyard facing south called Podere Massoni, which is the oldest Zenato vineyard. Here the Trebbiano di Lugana vines have a remarkably high average age of around 50 years, which gives the wine strength and depth.
This sophisticated Lugana has fine notes of citrus fruits, pineapple and peach. It is well balanced on the palate, has a good extract and a nice length.
