Sarotto, Roberto - Piemont

The Sarotto family has been growing wine in Piedmont since the 18th century. For a long time, the grapes or the wine in barrels were sold  to large cellars and cooperatives, as it was usual at the time. Roberto Sarotto took over the business in the early 1980s and began to market the wines under his own label in 1991. Within a short period of time, the Sarottos have lounged a considerable portfolio, from sparkling wines to lively white wines such as Gavi and Langhe Arneis to the top red wine Barolo. All wines in the collection have charm and are therefore are very popular. The wine journalists also appreciates the Sarotto collection, Luca Maroni has already achieved his highest mark of 99 points several times and the Gambero Rosso is also enthusiastic every year. Numerous silver and gold medals from international wine awards complete the picture.
