In 1878, Terence Biscardo founded a wine trading company that is now known as Mabis s.r.l. registered. Like many of today's long-established Veronese companies, they began with the marketing and development of wines from the region and, over time, expanded their business to include wines from other areas of Italy. The Biscardo family still runs the company today with great success, as numerous awards and prizes from all over the world prove. Mabis wines have already received the rare "Great Gold" award at Mundus Vini twice! All three "Passo" wines, i.e. Neropasso, Rosapasso and Oropasso, were recently awarded gold medals at the Berlin Wine Trophy. Mabis labels are Biscardo (Veneto), maurizioBmartino (Veneto), Baglio Gibellina (Sicily) and Casato di Melzi (Puglia).
