The Farge family has been cultivating grapes on the northern Rhône since 1920, which were delivered to the cooperative in Tain l'Hermitage. It was not until 2007 that Guy Farge decided to take the vinification and marketing into his own hands after completing his wine-making studies in Suze-la-Rousse. In addition to the excellent steep slopes in Saint-Joseph and Condrieu, the Domaine Guy Farge could be extended to 20 hectares of vineyards by purchasing plots in Cornas and Saint-Peray.
The cultivation is made according to natural methods, the soil treatment is mostly done with horses, in order to avoid a compression of the soil by heavy machines. Here, stylish and storable white and red wines are vinified with a lot of style and the classic North-Rhone flavor.
