The winery Studier sits in Ellerstadt, in the north of the Palatinate, east of Bad Dürkheim. They grow mainly Burgundy varieties and Riesling, all of which are excellent.
The Weißburgunder (= Pinot Blanc) dry from the "Bachelor Line" by Studier is a lively and balanced white wine that was expanded in the steel tank to emphasize To put the fruit entirely. With all freshness, he has the typical balance of this burgundy variety. The flavors are reminiscent of white and yellow fruits such as pears and apricots, in the background you can also perceive an exotic fruit grade that has something of pineapple. The wine is grown biologically and comes from a vineyard system with approx. 40 -year -old sticks that give the wine complexity and substance.
It is best to enjoy this Pinot Blanc for the typical Palatinate cuisine, to dishes with cream sauce, river fish witht white wine sauce, pasta or vegetables.Click here for the winemaker portrait Studier with all available wines.
